Paralegal

This role comes with a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and hybrid working options.The RoleAs a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Paralegal, you will assist on a broad range of matters, including:Defended service charge, ground rent, and possession matters (residential and commercial)Reviewing claims, liaising with clients and agents to gather relevant information, and assisting with research and drafting of advice on the merits of defences and/or counterclaimsInvestigating breach of covenant matters, providing research support, and assisting in drafting client advice and taking instructionsSupporting the team in preparing for compliance with Court and Tribunal deadlinesPreparing Landlord & Tenant advice in response to client requests in a timely mannerProviding regular updates and reports to clients and/or agentsMaintaining effective case management, including diarising key dates and keeping database notes updatedProducing accurate and concise reporting as requiredCarrying out any other reasonable duties in line with the role, as directed by your Line ManagerRequirements – Essential/Desired:Proven experience as a paralegal, ideally within property disputesExcellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressureStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partnersDesirable experience in service charge and ground rent recovery (both residential and commercial), breaches of covenant, and general landlord and tenant disputesFamiliarity with County Court and First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) proceedings is advantageousTo apply or for more information, please contact Jess at AJ Chambers.
