We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join this dynamic and rapidly growing company specialising in high-capacity fibre connectivity for business clients. The OpportunityThis newly created Senior Legal Counsel role offers the chance to join a growing in-house legal team at a pivotal stage of expansion. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical, commercial legal advice across the business, including to the senior leadership team.The scope of work is broad and engaging: you’ll advise on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including agreements with suppliers, customers, contractors, landowners, and local authorities. You’ll help shape internal policies, deliver training to colleagues, and support on regulatory and compliance matters. The role also includes managing external legal counsel and contributing to the company's wider culture of integrity and excellence. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, visibility, and meaningful responsibility.ExperienceWe’re looking for a commercially minded and confident legal professional who meets the following criteria:Qualified solicitor with 6–10 years’ PQE who has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, ideally including supply contracts, service agreements, and customer terms.In-house experience (either currently or via secondment) is highly desirable, though not essential.Background in telecoms, tech, or regulated industries would be advantageous.Comfortable working independently, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior stakeholders.Sound judgment and commercial awareness, able to balance legal risk with practical business needs.Adaptable and proactive mindset, keen to take on a varied workload across commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven company with an outstanding reputation and a genuine commitment to building a positive workplace culture.
