JOB – CNC Machinist LOCATION – SouthamptonTERM- PermanentSALARY - £30,000-£35,000, dependent on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an CNC Machinist to join their team in Southampton on a permanent basis. The CNC Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Setter Ideally have some experience with or knowledge of programmingTime Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and componentsBe able to read from engineering drawingsHave previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environmentBe able to work well alone as well as part of a teamThe CNC Machinist role will involve:Working with CNC machinery and producing plasticsRunning multiple machines – small to medium batch workInspecting components as requiredCNC Milling or Turning working with varied controlsReading from engineering drawingsAdhering to company H&S requirementsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
