HR MANAGER | BASINGSTOKE | 2–3 MONTH CONTRACTLocation: Basingstoke (Hybrid – on-site presence required)Engagement: Independent Contractor / InterimDuration: 2–3 MonthsDay Rate: Competitive, depending on experienceStart Date: As soon as possibleI'm urgently looking to engage an experienced HR Manager for a short-term contract with one of my key clients – a well-established global organisation undergoing a busy period of activity. This role will suit a confident and capable HR professional who can work independently, adapt quickly and deliver from day one.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong generalist background, comfortable with employee relations and supporting leadership teams in a fast-paced environment. Role Overview:• Act as a strategic HR partner to leadership, advising on people matters including workforce planning, talent development and succession.• Handle complex employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.• Support the performance management cycle and learning and development initiatives.• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and best practices.• Contribute to employee engagement activities and well-being programs.• Drive efficiencies across HR systems, ensuring accurate data and process improvement.• Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and EMEA on cross-regional HR projects. What I’m Looking For:• 8+ years’ experience in HR, ideally in a senior generalist or HR Manager role.• Strong experience in employee relations and HR operations.• Previous experience working in a matrixed or global business environment.• Comfortable working at pace, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.• Ideally has worked in a manufacturing or industrial setting, and/or with unions or collective bargaining agreements.• Degree-qualified in HR or a related field. CIPD or similar professional certification preferred.
