After Care Manager

A growing main contractor delivering high-quality industrial, commercial, and mixed-use projects across London and the South East is seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to lead post-completion support across its live project portfolio.The role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless handover and defects management experience for both clients and tenants—while also being site-certified to cover Site Manager duties during holidays or short-term absences.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for all aftercare, defects and snagging queries from clients and tenants post-handoverCoordinate subcontractor callouts and ensure timely resolution of all issues within the defects liability periodCarry out post-completion inspections and follow-up snaggingMaintain accurate logs of outstanding and completed defects using tracking systemsBuild strong relationships with end-users, landlords, and project stakeholders to ensure satisfactionRepresent the contractor professionally during tenant move-ins and practical completionsProvide site cover during holiday periods, stepping in as acting Site Manager when neededRequirementsProven experience in aftercare, handover, or site management on commercial/industrial projectsStrong communication skills with a confident, client-facing mannerHighly organised and self-directed; able to track multiple issues across multiple sitesCapable of managing subcontractors and chasing resolutions independentlyFully site compliant with valid:SMSTSCSCS CardFirst Aid Comfortable working across Greater London and the South EastWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel, snagging softwareRef: 3906JR
