Job Title: Chemistry LecturerLocation: Central LondonStart Date: Wednesday 17th September (strict – must be available and committed)Contract Details:Teaching Level: BTECHours per Week: 23Days per Week: 5Rate: £30-£35 per hourRole Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chemistry Lecturer to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to BTEC students. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering the curriculum, supporting student progression, and maintaining excellent classroom management.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality teaching in Chemistry to BTEC students.Develop and prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.Support and monitor student learning, progress, and achievements.Provide feedback, guidance, and academic support as required.Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and outcomes.Contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching strategies.Ensure compliance with college policies and safeguarding standards.Requirements:A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a closely related field.Experience teaching BTEC (or similar vocational qualifications) is essential.Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire learners.Fully vetted and able to start on Wednesday 17th September without exception.DBS must be on the Update Service
