We’re working with a major local authority to recruit an Energy Officer who will play a vital role in delivering a smart, cost-effective energy strategy that supports their journey towards Net Zero.What you’ll be doing:Ensuring accurate utility billing and robust contract managementManaging meter data, validating energy usage, and improving reportingSupporting financial reconciliations, recharges, and energy debt recoveryContributing to decarbonisation, compliance, and procurement strategiesDrafting compelling business cases and funding bids for green initiativesWhat we’re looking for:Proven experience in energy or carbon management within large organisationsStrong Excel skills – pivot tables, lookups, and data cleansing are second nature to youConfident in handling recharges, off-contract usage, and debt recoveryKnowledge of energy procurement processes and compliance frameworksA collaborative, detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team committed to sustainability, with the flexibility of remote working and the potential to shape impactful energy solutions.If you are interested please apply and one of the team will be in touch!
