Commercial Manager - Commodity ingredients

Are you passionate about sustainability and regenerative agriculture?Interested in Dairy, Commodities, Cheese and export sales?First Milk are growing the commercial team in their Cheese business unit, this person will manage existing business and help them to seek new customers and partners for their products. We need someone with a hunting mentality who will collaborate with customers who want to partner with a regenerative farming business.First Milk are a co-operative owned by British family farms and a leader in practicing regenerative farming, they are also a certified B-Corp. They have cheese making sites in Haverfordwest – south west Wales and Aspatria in Cumbria.This is a remote based role that will spend some time at Haverfordwest and the Lake District Creamery sites to build up cheese manufacturing and business knowledge. Ideal location would be on the M5 or M6 between Bristol and Glasgow. There will be some travel to UK and export customers and trade shows.A car allowance is offered with this role along with a strong benefits package. Salary guideline circa £60-70k negotiable dependent on experience.We welcome applicants with experience in food sales into manufacturers or wholesalers and particularly export customer experience would be interesting.
