Role: Product ManagerLocation: Remote (some travel is expected to London)Clearance: Active SC Clearance requiredContract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)Duration: Initial 5-6 months, likely extensionsWe are seeking a skilled and delivery-focused Product Manager to support a public sector digital programme.The successful candidate will have experience working in agile environments and leading the development of user-centric digital services from discovery through to live, with great experience in GDS standards and service assessments.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goalsLead stakeholder engagement, gathering and translating requirements into delivery prioritiesWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive iterative deliveryEnsure products meet required outcomes and quality standards, including GDS complianceUse metrics and feedback to inform continuous improvementSupport governance, reporting, and participation in GDS assessmentsEssential Skills and Experience:Active SC clearance (must be in place prior to start, those without need not apply)Demonstrable experience delivering digital services in the UK public sector in a recent roleStrong experience in GDS standards and experience participating in GDS service assessmentsProficiency in JIRA for managing backlogs and agile delivery workflowsStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with or knowledge of ServiceNow platform and servicesDeep understanding of agile methodologies and product delivery lifecycle
