We are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to assist on an ongoing basis.We would be interested in hearing from you if you feel you meet the following criteria.Essential RequirementsKnowledge of AML and UK Sanctions Compliance requirements for English law firmsKnowledge of CRA rules and regulationsExcellent Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) skillsBasic knowledge of foreign corporate law will be an advantageA keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellenceExcellent communication skills and strong work ethosIT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExperience of working as a compliance officer for an English law firm (preferred)Background in OFSI will be an advantageResponsibilitiesAML and Sanctions Compliance checks in course of onboarding of new clientsRegular compliance checks on current clientsFilling and maintaining compliance formsMonitoring of AML and Sanctions rules and regulations and producing alerts for internal use Additional InformationMaximum requirement of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday); overtime available. Job TypeFlexible from part to full time depending on the candidate and your availability SalaryCompetitiveBenefitsFlexitimeWork from home Ability to CommuteLondon (desirable) Reports toBelgravia Law Partners LocationTemple Chambers, 3-7 Temple Avenue, Temple, London EC4Y 0DAHowever, we will consider candidates outside the UK to work remotely subject to meeting UK working hours
