Private Client Solicitor Basingstoke - 4-6 years PQEA well-established and progressive law firm in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced and ambitious Private Client Solicitor to join its respected Wills & Estate Planning team.This is a key role for a confident and technically skilled lawyer who enjoys client contact, business development, and working collaboratively with other professionals. The successful candidate will play an important part in the continued growth of the department and be given the autonomy to manage their own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on more complex matters.The Role: The caseload will include a broad mix of private client work such as:Drafting Wills and advising on estate planningLasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)Trust creation and administrationCourt of Protection mattersGeneral private client enquiries The position also involves close liaison with other professionals including financial advisers, wealth managers, and tax specialists, as well as collaborating with other departments to develop internal referrals and strengthen cross-team relationships.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:4-6 years' PQE in private client workA strong technical understanding of Wills, probate, LPAs, and ideally trust mattersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA confident and proactive approach to networking and business developmentThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamA commitment to delivering high standards of client service The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor looking to join a supportive, forward-thinking firm with a strong local reputation and a loyal client base.
