Design Coordinator / Design Team Leader - Facade/Cladding/Curtain WallThe CompanyMy client are a Specialist Facade Contractor, with a reputable name in the industry.Not only do they excel as a facade contractor, but they also take the reins as Principal Contractor on complex envelope projects.HQ based near Potters Bar, with projects in London.Design CoordinatorMy client are are seeking an experienced Facades Design Coordinator to join their construction team. This role will be x4 days in the office/site and x1 day working from home.This role is responsible for managing and coordinating the design, detailing, and technical aspects of façade systems from concept through to construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and client requirements. The successful candidate will act as a vital link between architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver innovative, efficient, and buildable façade solutions.Review architectural drawings, structural details, and specifications to ensure façade design compliance.Ensure façade designs comply with building codes, fire safety, thermal, acoustic, and sustainability requirements.Liaise with architects, façade engineers, structural engineers, MEP teams, and main contractors.Ensure design solutions align with project specifications, budget, and program requirements.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or other design coordination software.You will need to have proven experience in façade design and coordination.For the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003 Premises Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for temporary recruitment.
