For over 30 years, we have delivered specialist residential care, education and therapy for young males aged 11-18 who have experienced significant trauma and displayed harmful sexual behaviour. Our work focuses on reducing risk, addressing complex needs and empowering young people to move forward into safe, responsible and fulfilling adult lives.As a Deputy Home Manager you will:Support with the day-to-day running of the homeEnsure high standards of care, safeguarding and complianceSupport, supervise and develop the staff teamPromote trauma-informed and therapeutic approachesAct as a positive role model for young peopleSupport young people achieve personal goals and independenceAssist with reports and regulatory requirementsTo be a successful Deputy Home Manager at SWAAY, you will have:Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent e.g. Social Work Degree)Level 5 Leadership and Management Diploma (or willingness to work towards)Previous experience working with children and young people in residential settingsExperience in a senior role/deputy position with managerial responsibilitiesStrong understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed careCompassion, resilience and the ability to act as a positive role model to both the young people and staff teamWhy work with us?Fully funded training - NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
