We value your referrals, and through our Refer a Friend scheme, you can earn up to 1,000 in bonus rewards!Role overviewThe role of a Field Service Engineer plays a key part in a busy, energetic, customer facing team, which is crucial to the business and its on-going successes.Engineers visit a variety of customer premises; from care homes to hotels, restaurants, schools, government buildings and corporate clients. As such, Engineers are field-based and DBS checks are regularly carried out.Key tasksMaintain and repair equipment as and when directed by the Operations TeamCarry out comprehensive, competent, and safe repairs to customer and Company satisfaction, aiming to fix the cause of the fault not just the fault itselfProactively work towards the growth of the company by identifying and submitting engineer leads for upgrades and other potential sales businessClean equipment and the immediate vicinity of the machine after completion of site work, leaving the site clean and tidyComplete and provide reports in relation to work and equipment as required, including reporting your arrival and departure from each call and obtaining customer signature where requiredDrive the implementation of engineering best practice processes, procedures and tools that maximise effectiveness and efficiencyMaintain technical and system updates and releases as requiredManage tooling and van stocks as well as job part orders appropriately by receipting, consuming or returning for each jobSupport growth generation by submitting lead opportunitiesKnowledge and SkillsBackground in mechanical and electrical workProficient level of computer skillsGood communication skills, both verbally and writtenExperienceExperience of maintaining and servicing commercialSkilled in repairing and servicing commercial dishwashers and glass cleaning machines.Experience of managing challenging situations in a customer-facing roleExperience of identifying selling opportunities in order to generate sales leads.Personal qualitiesAptitude for practical workGood attention to detailTalent for solving problemsGood communication and customer service skillsResourceful, with the ability to work independentlyGood time management skillsQualificationsWe will need you to have a full UK diving licence as the role involves UK travel.TPBN1_UKTJ
