We are pleased to announce a new job opening for a permanent full time Commercial Heating & Plumbing Engineer.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Our client is a reputable and well established Electrical and Mechanical contractor based in Hampshire, positioned to serve projects throughout the south of the UK, offering renewable and main contracting services in addition.We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and takes pride in their technical ability and attention to detail.Commercial Heating & Plumbing EngineerKey Responsibilities:Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies and industry best practices.Identify any defects found and provide parts list and estimated timescales to complete the defects.Ensure Boilers are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety Regulations.Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues and customers.Bathroom installations, alterations and repairsCentral heating installations, alterations and repairsComplete re-pipes to domestic/commercial housesGas or oil installations, alterations and repairsPlumbing workUnvented and vented hot water etc.Above ground drainageMaintenance and all plumbing systemsPlumbing & Heating Engineer Experience:Plumbing: 5 years minimumUK Drivers LicenceCity & Guilds Commercial GasProficient in using hand and power tools for plumbing and heating tasksStrong mechanical knowledge and basic math skillsExperience with welding techniquesAbility to perform heavy lifting and assembly tasksFamiliarity with carpentry principlesValid UK driving license preferredRelevant certifications in plumbing and heating systemsSalary & Benefits:Competitive salary circa 40,000Company van provided20 days holiday plus bank holidaysTools and uniform providedPension schemeOngoing support and potential development opportunitiesA supportive and collaborative team environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
