Our client is a well-established and trusted provider of bonded warehousing, stock management, product consolidation, transport and logistics services for major international businesses across the UK, Europe and beyond. Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience with curtain-sided trailers Good understanding of load safety and manual handling Ability to manoeuvre and reverse vehicles safely in a yard environment Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties Team player with strong communication skills Maximum six penalty points Willingness to undergo a criminal record check due to the nature of the work Duties will include: Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading (onsite only) Hitching and unhitching vehicles Pulling curtains and strapping loads Manoeuvring and reversing vehicles onto loading ramps in a small yard Carrying out vehicle and trailer checks and reporting defects Assisting with loading vehicles and general yard duties (forklift training provided) For more details, please contact Monika at our Poole Branch on 01202 295755 , or apply with your CV for a call back.
