We areneeds-ledand only work in response to requests from local colleagues. Weprovideexpertise, education, training, mentoring and support. In addition, weseek to influence policy makersby raising awareness of palliative care needs in the developing world with governments, NGOs, donor agencies and academic institutions.Ourvalues - We respect the integrity of each person: their faith, background and lifestyle. We are motivated by compassion inspired by the love of Christ.The Cairdeas Board of Trustees seeks to welcome someone with financial experience and an interest in fundraising to join the Board.The purpose of the role is to ensure that the charity’s finances and supporting financial control systems are robust and comply with relevant regulations. The role works closely with the Finance Officer, the Medical Director and the Board of Trustees. Day to day bookkeeping is all done by the Finance Officer. Any interest or experience in fundraising would be an asset.
