In this critical role, youll oversee end-to-end order processing from capturing customer orders to ensuring timely fulfilment working closely with planning, sales, and production teams to deliver exceptional service and on-time delivery. Key Responsibilities Order Processing : Monitor and manage the shared inbox to ensure all customer orders are accurately captured, reviewed, and processed in line with departmental targets. Scheduling & Acknowledgements : Coordinate with planning teams to provide timely order confirmations and ensure product launches stay on track. Prioritisation & Delivery Management : Prioritise orders effectively to meet delivery commitments and manage customer expectations. Lead Time Monitoring : Track product lead times and escalate any deviations from agreed timelines. Customer Communications : Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication around order progress and any changes. Issue Resolution : Proactively address order-related issues or delays and communicate solutions clearly and promptly to customers. What Youll Bring Essential Experience: 35 years experience in order management or order processing within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience working with production and delivery planning (S&OP). Comfortable working alongside sales teams and communicating across departments. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Desirable Experience: Familiarity with ERP systems such as Winman and/or SAP . Knowledge of value stream thinking and production optimisation techniques. Ideal Candidate Profile Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication able to liaise confidently across all levels. Organised, proactive, and self-motivated capable of managing workload with minimal supervision.
