Electrical Fitter Power Solution's (South England) Location: Sites across the South of England (Southampton, Reading, Portsmouth) Salary: Competitive (dependant on experience) Job Type: Permanent Were looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join a leading power infrastructure business supporting live substation projects across the South of England. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on electrical installation work, thrives in a safety critical environment, and wants to be part of a highly skilled delivery team. Key Responsibilities Work as part of a site delivery team on substation and HV infrastructure projects. Install, gland and terminate multicore cables, switchgear and associated equipment. Read and interpret construction drawings and support with RAMS documentation. Assist with planning and QA checks to ensure all work is completed to high standards. Carry out plant/tool inspections, report defects, and maintain accurate records. Maintain a strong safety culture and identify potential risks on site. About You Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter or Electrician in power or utilities. Competent reading drawings, wiring schematics and interpreting technical documents. Confident working on live substation or HV environments (11kV132kV ideal). Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to different project sites. Desirable Qualifications NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Installation) or equivalent trade qualification. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). PASMA, MEWP, Telehandler or Confined Space certification (advantageous). Whats on Offer Long term pipeline of projects across the region. Excellent training and career development opportunities.
