HGV Yard Driver

Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for flexible Class 2 drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in vehicle movements. This role is ideal for someone looking for 2-3 days of work a week. About this role: Work on an AD HOC basis (2-3 days a week) Working hours are 7:30am- 6:00pm Delivering HGV vehicles, vans and cars around the south coast Operate company vehicles in a safe manner Complete all necessary paperwork accurately Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any damage Always keep yard in clean and tidy condition What we require from you: Full UK Class 2 licence Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card Own transport to commute to and from work Have a great understanding of health and safety Alert and aware of your surroundings Attention to detail Minimum of 12 months experience on Class 2 is essential Fantastic communication skills Benefits of working with us at Driver Hire Southampton: Weekly pay PAYE or PAYE Advanced payment method Onsite parking Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift A friendly team available for you 24/7 CPC and licence upgrading with Driver Hire Training More work rewarded to those who do well Driver Hire Southampton is an agency which provides staff cover to a range of companies within the Southampton and Winchester area.
