Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description The software engineering department is scaling rapidly, and the platform maturity needs to keep pace.This is a new senior hire, joining an existing SRE team of two as part of a planned expansion. The focus is on building a robust, secure, and repeatable platform that enables developers to ship with confidence as the organisation grows.You will have meaningful influence over how reliability, security, and operational standards are defined and implemented.Up to 80,000 Southampton | Hybrid (2 days onsite)What you will be responsible forYou will take a senior, hands-on role in shaping the platform and guiding technical direction, while still remaining close to the work. Key areas of responsibility include:Designing and evolving cloud infrastructure using Terraform as a first-class practiceImproving platform reliability, scalability, and security postureWorking closely with development teams to enable safe, efficient deliveryLeading by example on observability, incident analysis, and operational disciplineHelping define and embed SRE best practices as the team growsThere is no on-call expectation.
