Job Description OurClientarenowlookingforadaySeniorCarertojointheirteamJobpurposeToassess,plan,,dignity,independenceandchoicearemet.Toensurethatthecompanysmissionstatementandcorevaluesarecarriedthroughallaspectsofpatientcare.KeyResponsibilitiesToberesponsibleforthecareofallResidentialresidentswithinthehome.Tooverseethecarebeingprovided,identifyshortfallsandrectifyanyshortfallsinstaffperformance.Toaudit,actionandreviewstandardswithinResidentialunitsToeffectivelyleadtheteam.Toformulate,implementandregularlymaintainResidentialcareplans,providingthehighestlevelofpersonalcareandattentiontoresidents,followingindividualcareplanscarefullyandensuringthatallcontactispolite,friendly,warmandsupportive.TounderstandandcomplywithallstatutoryandlegalrequirementswhicharerelevantsuchasHealth&Safety,COSHH,allaspectsoftheCareStandardsActandensurethatthecorrectaccidentandincidentreportingproceduresarefollowedtomaintainasafeenvironmentthroughoutthehome.ToprovideandsupervisethedeliveryofResidentialcare,actingasaresourceforallthecaringteam,identifyinganytraininganddevelopmentneeds,assistingcolleaguestotheirmaximumandassistintrainingprogrammes.Toensurehighestlevelsofpersonalhygieneandinfectioncontrolmeasuresarealwaysadheredto.TomaintainandkeepaccurateResidentialrecords,byliaisingwithresidents,relativesandstafftoensurecareplanningistimelyundertaken,implementedandevaluated,toparticipateinresidentcarereviewswithresidents,relativesandsocialworkersasarrangedandtoensuresupportgroupsforresidents,friendsandrelativesaremaintained.Tomonitor,dispenseandadministermedicationtoresidentsasprescribed,accuratelymaintainingappropriaterecordsinlinewithcurrentlegislativeguidelines.Tooverseeandcarryouteffectivestockcontrolandorderingofresidentsprescribedmedicationandmedicalproductsforthehomeinlinewithcurrentlegislativeguidelines.Torespectandmaintainconfidentialityofresidentspersonalinformationatalltimes,thisincludesresidentsbehaviourandactionsandanyincidentsthatmayoccurinthecourseofdaytodaycare.Tobeanactiveandencouragingmemberofthecareteam,contributingtoteammeetingsandresidentreviewmeetings,ensuringgoodcommunicationandassistingintheinductionandtrainingofnewlyappointedmembersofthecareteam,ensuringthehomeisafriendly,supportivecaringenvironments.Toensureaccurateandtimelyreportingofallannualleave,sickness,complaints,accidentsmishapsandDailyCensustotheManager.CarryingoutallprocedureslaiddownaccordingtoCompanyPolicy.Todeputiesforthedeputyintheirabsencewhererequired.AnyotherreasonablerequestmadebyadirectororManagerJBRP1_UKTJ
