Job Description Raw Materials Technologist (Maternity Cover)Location: Windmill Lane, Grantham or CraigavonContract: Fixed Term ContractWe're looking for a detail-focused Raw Materials Technologist to support supplier compliance, ingredient safety, and specification accuracy across our business.What You'll DoRequest, review and approve raw material specifications and supplier certifications.Complete and maintain raw material and packaging risk assessments.Keep internal spec systems fully updated and compliant with customer and legislative standards.Validate on-pack claims (vegan, welfare, organic, RSPO, PDO etc.).Support suppliers with our policies and Smile system.Act as the main contact for sites on raw material queries.Manage raw material SAP codes and archive obsolete specs.What You'll BringEssential:Food qualification or relevant experience.Strong IT and communication skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise.Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines.Desirable:Experience writing specs or working in technical/regulatory roles.Knowledge of food legislation and customer requirements.Experience with customer spec systems.Interest in ingredient safety and integrity.JBRP1_UKTJ
