Senior Housing Regulatory Lead

Regulatory Housing Leadership OpportunityThis is an exciting chance to lead our Housing Performance/Improvement Team as a Housing Regulation & Improvement Manager.As a key member of the team, you will oversee the development, delivery, and implementation of a quality assurance and improvement program across the Council's Housing Directorate.Key responsibilities include:Providing assurance that the Council meets all statutory and regulatory housing requirementsDeveloping action plans and remediations where necessaryLeading, motivating, and developing your team to drive up standards across the directorateRepresenting the service corporately and with partnersRequirements for the role include:Expertise in housing with significant knowledge and experience of preparing and implementing housing policies, procedures, formal reports, and presentationsExcellent investigative and problem-solving skills, able to spot flaws in an argument and take a collaborative approach to finding solutionsExperience of managing or supervising staff and guiding and contributing to service and process design, continuous improvement, and performance managementThe ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality services and have a strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.About UsWe are an outstanding council serving an outstanding borough.
