This role is central to planning, coordinating, and delivering high-profile technical projects across multiple stakeholders.Role SummaryReporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the allocation of tasks within the team, ensuring alignment with contract deliverables. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, OEMs, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the project team, ensuring successful development and completion of all technical tasksOversee planning and execution of complex upgrade and modification programsLiaise with external stakeholders to ensure alignment with engineering and regulatory standardsCoordinate with internal departments, contractors, and OEMs to define scope, budgets, and resource requirementsDeliver projects from initial request through execution and completionManage cost estimation, resource allocation, change control, and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate technical documentation and produce comprehensive project reportsAttend client meetings as the lead representativeContribute to invoicing and negotiation of final settlements with third partiesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory regulationsMonitor team performance through KPIs and provide monthly updates to senior managementQualifications & ExperienceEssential:Proven experience in project or contract management, preferably in marine, engineering, or shipbuilding sectorsHNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplineExperience managing cross-functional teams and multiple technical workstreamsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProject management certification (PRINCE2, APM, PMP)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)Desirable:Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder engineering projectsKnowledge of industry standards, classification requirements, or regulatory frameworksBenefits23 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 4 years) plus bank holidaysHoliday buy/sell schemeFree on-site parkingCompany-matched pension scheme?
