A fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter-Operator to join a fast paced, growing, forward-thinking business. Working within a modern facility, you will program, set, and operate advanced 3 Axis CNC milling machinery, producing high-quality components across a range of sectors. This role offers excellent long-term stability, technical variety, and progression opportunities into 5 Axis CNC milling.Operating across the automotive, architectural, construction, steel, acoustic, and audio sectors, the business supplies the UK market and exports globally, offering a stable role with technical variety and responsibility.What we need from you:Strong experience in 3 axis CNC milling (programming, setting & operating)Time-served apprenticeship in CNC machining or a related discipline (preferred)Used to working in a fast-paced environmentExperience using Hurco WinMax and Fanuc ControlsProven CAM software experience (preferably Solid CAM)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsGood understanding of machine processes, materials, tolerances and the use of Inspection equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong problem-solving skills and proactive attitudeHave you got the right qualifications and skills for this job Find out below, and hit apply to be considered.Desirable:Exposure to 5 axis machining or willingness to learnExperience in machining parts for tooling, jigs, and fixturesAble to work with and train apprenticesExposure to manufacture for the Automotive, Building and construction IndustriesThis role will involve you reporting to the CNC Manager. xjdpvnf Duties to include:Program, set, and operate 3 axis CNC milling machinesManufacture high-precision components to engineering drawings and specificationsWork on bespoke and small-batch components across a range of materialsUse CAM software to support efficient and accurate machining (preferably Solid CAM)Assist with tooling, fixtures, and jig manufacturing where requiredCarry out quality checks to ensure parts meet required standardsCollaborate with the CNC Machining Manager and wider teamSupport continuous improvement within the machining departmentOpportunity to train and develop into 5-axis machiningSupport 5s activitiesSalary:17 to 18.50 per hour depending on experience + overtime.Hours: Working 39 hours per week on days, Monday to Thursday 7.30am 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am 2pm.Benefits:Christmas shutdownOvertime and x221 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays (Increases to 25 Days after the first year)Workplace pension scheme after probation period (3% Employer contributions)Free onsite parkingUniform & PPELife insurance after probation periodCanteen with kettle, microwave and tea-making facilitiesWorking a day shift with an early finish on a FridayPlease apply now!
