SAP Programme Manager / Delivery Lead – Contract | Hybrid (London & Remote) | Inside IR35I’m currently recruiting for an SAP Programme Manager / Delivery Lead to join a major transformation programme with a leading UK-based retailer.This is a contract role with a competitive day rate, working in collaboration with a Tier-1 consultancy and the end client on a high-profile SAP S/4HANA implementation.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end programme delivery, working with senior stakeholders across business and IT, ensuring governance, risk management, and successful execution across all phases.Key responsibilities include:Leading the full lifecycle of complex SAP programmes (S/4HANA transformation, upgrades, rollouts, integrations).Driving delivery using best practice methodologies (Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).Acting as the primary point of contact for C-suite stakeholders.Establishing and managing programme governance and steering committees.Overseeing third-party vendors and system integrators to ensure delivery performance.Building, mentoring, and leading cross-functional teams (PMs, BAs, consultants, change managers).Partnering with change and training teams to ensure business readiness and user adoption.Ideal profile:SAP programme/project management experience.Proven track record delivering large-scale SAP transformations in multi-vendor environments.Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP Cloud, and third-party integrations.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at executive level.Consulting and retail industry experience desirable.Contacts:Harry@ / +44 7702 946 250
