You will manage and support a team of production operatives, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of health and safety.Key Responsibilities:Lead, manage and motivate a team of production staffEnsure production targets are achieved on time and to specificationMonitor and maintain high standards of quality, health and safetyDrive improvements in efficiency and workflow using lean manufacturing principlesCollaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Quality and PlanningCandidate ProfileWe are looking for an experienced production professional with a background in manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory or team leader capacity.Essential:Previous experience in a production supervisory or team leadership roleStrong people management and communication skillsSolid understanding of manufacturing processes and KPIsKnowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniquesA hands-on, proactive approach with good problem-solving skillsDesirable:Experience within the renewables or sustainability sectorSalary & Benefits£45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience25 days holiday plus bank holidays
