Our mission is to enhance customer experiences through innovative ventilation design and solutions.Reporting to: Operations DirectorLocation: Reading (ad-hoc Crawley)Reports: 6Hours of work: 39.5 hours per weekPackage: Competitive, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, EAP, Boost Works discount platform.Role Profile:We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise the supply chain operations across two manufacturing sites, ensuring the efficient flow of materials, information, and products from suppliers (UK, Europe, and Far East) to the production facility.This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, implementing innovative systems and processes, and aligning supply chain strategy with overall business objectives.The Supply Chain Manager will champion cross-site coordination, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement to support high-quality, on-time production and customer delivery.As the Supply Chain Manager your responsibilities will include:Oversee and coordinate supply chain activities across both manufacturing sitesLead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new supply chain systems and digital tools across both sitesCollaborate with IT, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies (e.g., ERP upgrades, warehouse management systems, demand planning tools)Drive process re-engineering initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance data visibilityChampion change management efforts by engaging stakeholders, delivering training, and ensuring adoption of new systems and processesMonitor post-implementation performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously refine systems to meet evolving business needsMonitor and optimise inventory levels to balance cost and service levelsCollaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goodsAnalyse supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvementImplement supply chain strategies that align with business goalsDrive continuous improvement initiativesExperience and Skills to be considered:5–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain roles within a manufacturing environmentCIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) desirable but not essentialProven track record of managing multi-site operations and coordinating cross-functional teamsExcellent leadership and communication abilities and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience in managing a Far East supply chain is desirableImplementing new systems and digital toolsManaging supplier relationships (UK, Europe, and Far East)Knowledge of regulatory compliance and sustainability practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics toolsYou can learn more about us here: opportunities: All current employees and potential employees are provided equal employment opportunities by Volution Group Plc.
