Senior Competition Lawyer

We are proud to be partnering with a global organisation seeking to appoint a strategic and dynamic Competition Lawyer to support its European operations across a wide range of competition law matters. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the transformation of the organisation’s global legal function.As a trusted business partner, you will:Help define and implement competition compliance strategyAdvise on merger control and broader competition law issuesReview and strengthen internal policies, including dawn raid proceduresMonitor regulatory and policy developments across relevant jurisdictionsProvide competition and merger control advice in connection with acquisitions and distribution structuresWe are keen to hear from candidates who bring:Circa 8+ years’ PQE with strong academic credentialsRobust competition law experience within a reputable in-house legal team, covering multiple jurisdictionsBroad-ranging expertise, particularly in:Abuse of dominanceHorizontal and vertical agreementsM&A mattersDesigning and implementing competition law compliance programmesExcellent communication skills, commercial acumen and adaptabilityA hands-on approach and the flexibility to support on other workstreams as requiredStrong purpose, people and culture sit at the heart of this innovative and supportive organisation.
