Civil Litigation Lawyer

We are currently in partnership with a London Borough who are recruiting for an experienced Litigation Lawyer on an initial 3-month temporary contract.This is a London-based position with once a week on site per week, on a full-time contract of 35 hours per week. This organisation is offering a rate of £55.00 per hour.The main purpose of this role is to provide a range of legal support to help ensure the successful delivery of the initiatives.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Dealing with a mixed case load and range of litigation matters including but not limited to:Debt recovery (high and low value)Service ChargesClaims under Equality Act Parking DisputesExperience required:Working for local government, preferably a London BoroughSolicitor Barrister, FILEX, or similar legal qualification and authorised to conduct legal workA proven track record in dealing with a wide range of litigation matters, as well as a thorough knowledge of civil procedure and practiceWorking hours:Full time (35 hours a week) Monday to Friday Once a week on sitePlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
