In House Legal Counsel – Corporate Commercial Lawyer – 4-6 pqe - Investment Manager – London Our client is an award-winning investment manager providing growth capital to UK SMEs, developers and real estate investors. This is a business in true growth mode. They now seek a Legal Counsel to assist the Senior Legal Counsel who we have just placed with the business. We know the team well and we can guide you to progress well in this process. For this very exciting opportunity you will be a motivated Corporate Commercial Lawyer with 4-6 years’ relevant experience in M&A. You may have worked in house and or gained your technical knowledge from within prestigious law firms in private practice.The team are proud of their non-hierarchical and meritocratic approach which results in a close-knit team with a unified goal. You will be an ambitious, resourceful team player with strong communication skills and a proven ability to work under pressure.As an effective project manager, you will be confident to structure and lead on multiple transactions at once. Commercially minded with experience in negotiations with both internal stakeholders and external counterparties, you will be keen to strive for excellence and help move a team forwards.You will be keen to work within a collaborative fast-moving entrepreneurial environment and to take on this senior business facing role.
