Interim Commercial Lawyer (Media experience)- £110k-£140k- Leading Streaming Platform

We are looking for a commercial lawyer, ideally with experience in leading media outfits, to join a dynamic team of a leading streaming platform. This will be to join their business development team to focus on enabling the distribution of the client via a wide range of partnerships.Key responsibilities include:Review, draft, negotiate and manage a wide range of commercial agreements, including reseller and distribution agreementsWork closely with our business teams to summarize and communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively and help them synthesize legal frameworks into their business/deal strategiesAdvise the business on relevant legal contexts, issues and risks, complex agreement structures, approval processes, and company policies and proceduresThe ideal candidate will have: Post-qualification experience working in a top tier law firm and/or in-house legal department Team player with an ability to work autonomously Previous experience partnering with global stakeholders and partners Strong track record of working with a wide range of commercial agreements (any focus on technology, business development, content licensing, media and IP deal a bonus) You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. You are inquisitive and challenge the effectiveness of current processes and procedures, constantly seeking ways to improveHybrid/remote working offered.
