Our client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting and evolving our customers' network environments.In this position, you’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, designing, and improving network infrastructure. You’ll work closely with a highly skilled technical team, take ownership of critical issues, and contribute to delivering a first-class service experience.What You’ll DoCustomer & Incident ManagementTake full ownership of technical issues, ensuring they’re triaged, resolved, and communicated effectively.Deliver timely, high-quality support that meets or exceeds service expectations.Champion best practices in incident/ticket handling and customer communication.Network Engineering & ArchitectureServe as a subject matter expert across one or more networking domains.Maintain deep knowledge of multi-vendor environments (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper).Analyse, troubleshoot, and optimise network infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud-connected environments.Lead the design and implementation of network solutions for project and improvement initiatives.Systems, Tooling & AutomationWork confidently across multiple operating systems relevant to network operations.Manage software and firmware updates across network devices.Develop scripts or processes that automate tasks and enhance operational efficiency.Pursue relevant professional certifications as part of continuous development.Security & ResilienceIdentify potential risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive protection across customer environments.Work with tools and processes that harden infrastructure and strengthen security posture.Governance, Change & DocumentationContribute to structured change control processes and implement changes safely.Maintain accurate asset and support documentation.Support ongoing improvement of operational processes, standards, and systems.Who You AreYou’re a technically strong, proactive engineer who enjoys both problem-solving and forward thinking.
