This is a senior role (Managing Consultant, Architect, Senior Consultant, Principal, or Manager level, depending on experience) where you will lead finance transformation engagements, provide deep SAP FI/CO functional expertise, and shape end-to-end solutions for our clients.The role requires a combination of solution architecture, delivery leadership, and stakeholder management, making it ideal for someone looking to take ownership of high-profile projects and influence business outcomes at a strategic level.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution LeadershipLead the design and delivery of SAP FI/CO solutions across end-to-end programmes.Define and architect SAP-enabled finance and controlling solutions, integrating with other SAP modules and third-party systems.Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.Client Engagement & AdvisoryAct as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, finance leaders, and programme sponsors.Guide clients through finance transformation, including S/4HANA Finance migrations, process optimisation, and best practices.Provide thought leadership on emerging SAP technologies, digital finance trends, and industry best practice.Delivery & Project ManagementLead teams of consultants through all phases of project delivery (design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support).Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.Practice DevelopmentContribute to business development, proposals, and pre-sales activities.Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering knowledge sharing within the practice.Drive continuous improvement and innovation in SAP FI/CO offerings.Skills & ExperienceCore SAP ExpertiseProven track record of delivering multiple full lifecycle SAP FI/CO implementations.Deep knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (CCA, PCA, COPA, Product Costing).Strong expertise in S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and Group Reporting.Understanding of integration with SD, MM, PP, and Treasury modules.Consulting & LeadershipStrong client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.Experience leading solution architecture or managing teams in complex programmes.Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on delivery level.PreferredProfessional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) desirable.Experience in industries such as Public Sector, Utilities, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, or Financial Services.Knowledge of cloud solutions and SAP BTP.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus.Flexible hybrid working (remote and client site).Professional development opportunities, including SAP certifications and leadership training.Opportunity to work on high-profile UK and international programmes.A collaborative, supportive, and entrepreneurial consultancy culture.
