Head of HR - London 3 days per weekSalary to 75k plus 10% bonus HRLife is delighted to be working with an innovative Tech firm with a real passion for sustainability and environmental protection. They’re a collaborative business with a start-up culture and are now looking for a Head of HR to join them on their journey as they continue to grow and develop. Reporting into the CFO and managing a small HR team, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing their people initiatives. This will be a broad generalist role; a mix of both strategic and operational HR as you’ll be supporting business leaders with a robust scale-up plan whilst also ensuring all the HR basics are in place and processes are fully streamlined.Key responsibilities include:Develop and implement HR strategies to support the organisation’s goals and objectives, including workforce planning, talent acquisition and employee retentionLead all recruitment activities ensuring a best-in-class candidate experienceDevelop, recommend and review competitive reward offerings to attract and retain top talentManage and resolve ER issuesLead learning and development initiatives with a particular focus on management developmentDrive succession planning and talent managementEnhance performance management processesManage the operational aspects of the HR, providing meaningful people data Focus on culture and wellbeing, monitoring employee engagement and delivering the annual plan of wellbeing initiativesThis will be ideal for someone who has previous experience working in a small, vibrant business and enjoys a broad generalist role, happy to work strategically whilst also being able to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into some of the detail. You’ll have strong influencing skills and an agile mindset. A commercial HR professional who has a passion for delivering excellence across the full employee lifecycle. In addition, our client is looking for:Degree educated, ideally with CIPD level 7Experienced in a similar industry, ideally Tech or engineeringStrong employment law knowledgeExperience in managing HR projectsA coaching and mentoring approachEmotionally intelligent
