Pricing Analyst

Salary: Up to £40,000-£45,000, with excellent travel benefitsLocation: Central London - 2-3 days a week in officeThis position is a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) - with genuine intentions to extendJoin a well-known company in the rail and travel space - working across data analysis for fare pricing, and projects related to train fares.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESAnalyse large datasets (10,000+ rows) related to train fares.Map and review fare structures, ensuring pricing is fair and appropriate for different stations and travel zones.Identify and solve challenges with fare pricing models.Conduct data analysis and create visualisations to support decision-making.Produce clear reports and insights that feed into senior-level decisions.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCERequired1-2 years commercial experience in a relevant spaceSQL (confident, able to query large datasets independently).Excel (advanced skills—pivot tables, lookups, and working with large datasets).Comfortable working autonomously and able to quickly pick up technical tasks.Strong analytical mindset, able to map data and derive meaningful insights.Experience in Power BI or other data visualisation tools (preferred but not essential).Confident communicator - this role involves presenting findings to support pricing decisions.This role cannot sponsor.Apply below!
