Our client, a global leader in logistics and supply chain management, is renowned for delivering innovative and efficient solutions to a diverse client base. They are seeking an experienced Interim Logistics Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team on a 1-year fixed-term contract, based in their London office.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate logistics-related contracts, including service agreements, freight forwarding contracts, and supplier agreements.Provide expert legal advice on UK and international transport regulations, including customs, trade, and environmental compliance.Support risk management, dispute resolution, and regulatory investigations within the logistics sector.Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with GDPR and health 'safety regulations.Collaborate with external counsel as needed and oversee legal aspects of cross-border logistics operations.Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends impacting the logistics and supply chain sector.Candidate RequirementsQualified lawyer with a valid practicing certificate in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction).Minimum of 4 years’ PQE with significant experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain law.In-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, international trade regulations, and compliance frameworks.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.Experience in dispute resolution and risk management is highly desirable.Familiarity with data protection and environmental regulations is advantageous.For more information please feel free to reach out to Martin Evensen - martin@
