Credit Research Associate - High Yield & Leveraged Loans

A leading investment manager with a proven track record in credit markets is seeking a Credit Research Associate. The role will focus on high yield bonds and leveraged loans, providing in-depth company and sector analysis to support investment decisions across credit strategies.Key Responsibilities:Undertake detailed fundamental research on European and US high yield issuers and leveraged loan borrowers including financial modelling and capital structure evaluation.Monitor portfolio positions and provide timely updates on credit performance and industry developmentsProduce investment notes for discussions with Portfolio Managers and other analysts to formulate investment ideas Perform relative value analysis on new opportunities across primary and secondary marketsKeep up-to-date on market trends, regulatory changes and macroeconomic drivers impacting leveraged credit marketsCandidate Profile:3-5 years of experience in credit research, leveraged finance, restructuring or a related fieldStrong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to assess cash flow sustainability and capital structuresSolid understanding of credit documentationAbility to articulate investment views clearly with convictionSelf-motivated and proactive nature Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline; CFA designation (or progress toward) a plus
