Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for our client, a leading food manufacturer who are currently reviewing structure and have a new role that will be responsible for the running of the operations and manufacturing facility.The site is highly automated but also has a number of people within the operation. You will be responsible for not only the day to day operations but also the longer term strategy that supports the ambitious growth of the site.You will be expected to effectively manage the staff and production of the produce, ensuring Quality and complying with all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Technical and Engineering requirements are maintained in accordance with customer requirements.Working closely with the technical team to ensure that quality products are produced, in line with customer specifications, working with NPD on new product launches and being able to meet with the customers when required.A key part of this role is to ensure that you are developing and mentoring the teams, ensuring that they understand how to become more efficient and developing skills to support the continual growth and increases in capacity.In order to be considered for this role you must have operated at a senior level within a food manufacturing organisation, ideally within the ambient bakery sector. You will be able to demonstrate that you have the ability to set KPI's and drive efficiencies within a food manufacturing site.Salary negotiable for the right person but this is a senior role and the salary will align with that.
