Project Procurement Lead

Job DescriptionPlanet Pharma are currently partnered with a global pharmaceutical company and we are actively seeking a Project Procurement Lead to join on a hybrid basis in Slough.Responsibilities:Lead the development and implementation of the Procurement Execution Strategy for assigned capital investment projects.Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, expediting, contract management, and closeout.Oversee procurement of both goods (e.g., process and lab equipment, AHUs, utilities components, automation systems, spare parts) and services (e.g., construction, piping, HVAC, cleanroom fit-out, engineering, consulting).Maintain and actively manage the Procurement Master Plan (PMP) to ensure timely execution, reporting, and risk mitigation.Act as the primary procurement interface across project teams, ensuring alignment with engineering, quality, EHS, legal, finance, and HR functions.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including category managers, buyers, contract managers, project directors, and technical SMEs.Build and manage strategic relationships with key third-party partners such as EPCM/EPC firms, contractors, and major suppliers.Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout procurement activities.Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement processes, tools, and project delivery practices.Key Requirements:5+ years pharma experienceDegreeAbout Planet Pharma:Planet Pharma is an American parented Employment Business/Agency that provides global staffing services with its head-quarters in Chicago and our EMEA regional office located in Central London.
