Pay rate: 16.00 per hour , weekly pay every Friday Shift pattern: Monday - Friday | shift start 4am/5am , 10 hrs shift Industry: Waste & Recycling Smart Solutions is currently recruiting a Class 2 Trade Waste Driver for our client based in Quarrington NG34 . Our client is a leader in waste management services. As Class 2 Trade Waste Driver you will collect and transport commercial waste using our modern fleet. The right candidate must have a strong route knowledge of the Midlands region and commitment to sustainability, you''ll thrive in a role that balances independence with team collaboration. Duties & Responsibilities: Drive and operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV to collect trade waste Facilitate collection of wheeled bin containers Plan efficient routes to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impact Use bin-lifting equipment and follow pre-planned routes Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness Ensure compliance with all health 'safety and waste handling regulations Provide professional and courteous customer service Report any issues, delays, or incidents promptly Person Specification: Must have the legal right to work in the UK Able to meet the essential physical requirements of the role including lifting and carrying Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage Good team player and communicator Able to perform various tasks including moving bulky items and loading the vehicle outside in all weather conditions Why Join us?
