Due to expansion, we are looking for additional members to join our team.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.You may be an experienced Car/Van Technician wishing to diversify your skills and become an HGV technician, either way, if you are looking for a new challenging role within a well-established business, that prides itself on quality workmanship, Look no more.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out routine inspections and repairs to DVSA standardsFault diagnosis using computer technology and your own mechanical knowledgeLiaise with the Parts Department as required.Servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer s guidelines and times (gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems etc)Develop Best Practice in all service operations and deliver consistently.Taking part in Service Van rotaDiligently complete inspection sheets and job cards to the highest standard.Ensure all Company, Franchise, Health & Safety and Environmental, ISO policies and standards are adhered to within the service department, and branch as a whole.The ideal candidate will:Have the ability to work independently within a friendly teamHave had experience working within a Franchise DealershipBoast good diagnostic skills and enjoy problem-solvingHave a flexible approach to tasks and a strong work ethicBe keen to undertake further training in line with franchise expectationsCity and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance is preferredThe ideal candidate will feel comfortable using computers and have experience working within a main dealer environmentHGV Class 1 or 2 license would be beneficial however not essential.Terms and Conditions:Salary negotiable, according to experienceMonday - Friday: Alternate week shifts:06:00 to 14:00 / 14:00 to 22:00Additional hours availableOn-the-job training provided31 days annual leave (Including Bank Holidays)Pension schemeQuarterly bonusPPE provided.Employee Assistance Programme - 24/7 health and wellbeing supportGenerous bonus scheme to reward team achievementOn site free parkingTraining & development opportunities - in-house and manufacturer-led, keeping you at the forefront of industry developments.Cycle to workJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Casual dressCompany pensionCycle to work schemeHealth & wellbeing programmeLife insuranceOn-site parkingReferral programmeWork Location: In person
