Production Supervisor

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to join our busy team in Grassington. Youll play a key role in supporting the Production Manager with the day-to-day running of operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities Assist the Production Manager with daily operations. Ensure all staff have the relevant training to perform their roles safely and effectively. Oversee and promote a strong Health & Safety culture, liaising with the H&S Manager as required. Maintain excellent hygiene and housekeeping standards across the site. Ensure all work is completed in line with agreed work instructions, standards, and specifications. Collect, check, and file all production records and check sheets accurately. Carry out and assist with accident and non-conformance investigations. Conduct daily hygiene checks in Dispatch and Welfare areas after production and cleaning. Oversee stock rotation and stock control of consumables, PPE, and packaging materials. Support management with probation reviews, performance reviews, and disciplinary investigations. Promote teamwork and clear communication across departments to ensure smooth operations. About You Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within manufacturing or food production. Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene practices. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident in leading, motivating, and developing a team. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
