If you are motivated by problem-solving, and driving imporvement this role offers the progression you are looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Test and Commissioning Engineer, you will:Lead and oversee all test and pre-commissioning activities and team membersProvide high-level technical support to internal engineering teams and external customersWork closely with the design department, offering guidance and feedback to improve future buildsCarry out FAT and pre-commissioning work to guarantee equipment quality and identify installation issues earlyPerform hands-on testing, fault-finding, and repair of electrical and mechanical components including control panels, wiring, machine controls, gearboxes, pipework, and plumbingOversee electromechanical assembly, prototype builds, and prototype testingCollaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve build or design issues quicklyConduct and oversee functional testing to technical specificationsReview, improve, and maintain test documentation, procedures, and work instructionsSupport installation teams with troubleshooting and attend customer sites when requiredProvide clear feedback to Engineering and Management on product performance and qualityCarry out inspection and inspection of parts to ensure specifications are metTake ownership for quality, ensuring customer expectations are fully achievedAbout YouYou will be:A fully qualified, multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical, mechanical, and control systems experienceConfident in reading, fault-finding, and programming PLCs, HMIs, and roboticsDetail oriented, methodical, and a proactive problem solverAn effective communicator who can work with colleagues at all levels and across departmentsCompetent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experienced in manufacturing processes such as wiring, assembly, testing, and fault-findingHolder a full driving licence (ideally clean)Willing to travel to site and stay away on occasionBenefitsCompany carLaptopMobile phoneEmployee Benefits Scheme25 days holiday + bank holidaysTravail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Thanks for your application.
