Job Description HYGIENE OPERATIONS MANAGERLocation: Skelmersdale (WN8 9PE)Hours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentWere looking for a proactive and confident Hygiene Operations Manager to join our team at a busy food manufacturing site.As Hygiene Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring food safety, health 'safety and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.Youll be part of a great team, with a supportive client and plenty of scope for development, including formal training and qualifications.Job DescriptionYoull take ownership of the Master Sanitation Schedule, allocating the right staff to the right tasks, and ensure theyre fully trained and compliant.Youll also support/take part in audits and issue permits to work (for working at heights).This is a great opportunity for someone hands-on, resilient, and ready to grow.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe, professional manner at all times while working on siteBuild strong client relationships and demonstrate an understanding of their expectationsTake ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive performance accordinglyComplete all allocated tasks to the required frequency and high standardEnsure full compliance with all relevant company documentation and systemsAccurately complete and review operational records, including cleaning sign-offs, contributing to audit and KPI outcomesTake responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of payroll processesAbout YouProven experience leading industrial cleaning teams in a manufacturing environmentStrong stakeholder management skillsHygiene Management backgroundExperience of issuing Permits to Work (for working at height and scissor lift operations)Strong leadership, team building, and problem solving skillsSolid knowledge of cleaning methods, systems, and proceduresConfident people manager able to handle finance, payroll, and recruitment tasksFood industry experienceIOSH / NEBOSH QualifiedFood Safety Level 3 qualifiedThe CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
