OverviewAbout the role: You will need to have an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a HVK license. You will be responsible for the efficient running of our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort, ensuring the highest standard of service is met consistently to delight our guests and receive positive feedback. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional service while ensuring the team is engaged and following best practice. You will support the day-to-day activities of the electrical team, including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial and electrical equipment. You will manage project works with both the team and subcontractors. You will plan and operate the rota system including on-call arrangements, and be available for call outs if required. The role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is important. Occasional late work and at least one weekend day per week will need to be covered. You will manage internal teams and external service providers to ensure full compliance with all H&S policies and oversee all team activities within the department including recruitment, performance, and development. You should advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work and conduct regular 1:1s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s. As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you should enjoy problem solving and ensuring that guest experience is your number one priority. ResponsibilitiesLead the Electrical Function team, ensuring day-to-day activities, routine maintenance, servicing and repair of electrical equipment across domestic and commercial environments. Manage project works with the team and subcontractors, coordinating scope, timelines and quality. Plan and operate the rota system (including on-call arrangements) and be available for call outs as required. Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and standards within the department. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and development of team members; conduct regular PDP discussions. Monitor guest feedback and fault-find effectively to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with other departments, resorts, and central support teams to support operations. Assist with budgeting and resource planning as required and ensure stock/propositions are available for guests. Ensure accurate rosters are prepared and completed in a timely manner, and monitor NPS where applicable. About You / Qualifications18th Edition electrical qualification and HVK license. Experience as an electrical leader with the ability to train and coach teams in a fun-filled environment to deliver excellent service. Proven ability to lead teams, prioritise a demanding workload, work on own initiative, and use PC/Microsoft Office. Confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards. Strong leadership skills to inspire and engage the team, even during high-demand periods, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly. General Duties & Key AccountabilitiesResponsible for managing the team during shifts on key tasks and objectives. Drive add-on sales and promotions and support the team to do the same. Ensure stock/propositions are available for guests and monitor delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand/venue guidelines. Capture guest feedback and provide accurate rosters three weeks in advance through SAM for all team members within the venue. Monitor NPS and take action where possible on guest feedback. Coach and develop the team to meet departmental plans; uphold Butlin’s Values and Leadership Behaviours. Focus on effective rostering (RPRRT) and build strong relationships across the resort and central support teams. Manage people-related tasks from onboarding through the employee lifecycle, including PDPs, performance management, training, and HR processes where applicable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
