As we continue to expand internationally, we are looking for a hands-on, technically capable and highly organised Karting Simulation Engineer / Workshop Manager to join our growing team.The Role:This is a senior hands-on position responsible for overseeing workshop operations while personally building, configuring and delivering world-class karting simulators. You will manage simulator builds from component level through to final installation, ensuring every unit meets KartSims strict performance and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble hardware across the KartSim Esports, Pro and Motion simulator rangeManage builds from start to completion, ensuring timelines are metConfigure and calibrate sensors and motion systemsInstall and configure bespoke high-performance PCsInstall and configure simulation software and required driversConduct full system testing and quality control prior to dispatchOversee day-to-day workshop operationsMaintain clean, organised and safe working environmentManage stock levels and component inventoryInstall simulators at client locations (UK & occasional international travel)Provide technical support and remote troubleshootingAssist with product demonstrations and development meetingsCandidate Profile Essential Skills & Experience:Mechanical experience within motorsportConfident using motorsport workshop toolsStrong understanding of mechanical assembly processesGood knowledge of PC hardware and Windows-based systemsExperience installing and configuring softwareUK driving licenceHighly Desirable:Experience as a kart mechanicFabrication experience (metal, wood, plastics)Electrical wiring or sensor integration experienceUnderstanding of simulation platforms (rFactor 2 advantageous)Passion for karting and driver developmentWhy Join KartSim?Work at the heart of UK motorsport at SilverstoneBe part of a rapidly growing international simulation brandDirect involvement in cutting-edge motorsport technologyVaried role combining engineering, motorsport and customer interactionOpportunity for progression as the company expands
