Electrician - 65k-70k South EAST London - Central - Kent Primarily covering Central London, with occasional work in South East London and Kent borders Electrical Estimator We are a well-established electrical contractor providing high-quality electrical services to corporate clients across Central London and the South East. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Estimator / Electrician to join our dynamic team. ________________________________________ Job Summary: This dual-role opportunity is ideal for a motivated and skilled individual who enjoys both on-site electrical work and the commercial aspects of estimating and pricing jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, carrying out site surveys, managing quotations, and also undertaking maintenance and testing work as needed. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for electrical works (both planned and reactive) Conduct site surveys to gather necessary information for estimates Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery Carry out electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance in line with 18th Edition standards Ensure all work complies with current regulations and safety standards Provide technical advice and support to clients and colleagues as required ________________________________________ Requirements: Fully Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671) Proven experience in estimating and pricing electrical jobs Sound understanding of electrical systems, installation, and maintenance Experience with inspection & testing, fault finding, and certification Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Excellent communication and client-facing skills Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness Full UK driving licence ________________________________________ Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing qualification) Experience working with corporate clients or in commercial settings varied both private and public sector settings ________________________________________ What We Offer: Attractive and competitive rate of pay (based on experience) Full expenses paid (including travel, parking, and sustenance) Company vehicle or travel allowance Opportunities for overtime and weekend work Ongoing training and professional development Supportive team environment with long-term career prospects ________________________________________ Apply Now: If you're a qualified and experienced electrician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for both hands-on and commercial aspects of the trade, we want to hear from you.
