Key Responsibilities:- Lead the financial management of Bridge projects from inception to completion.- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.- Conduct risk assessments and implement cost control measures.- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to contractual terms and conditions.- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.Essential Skills and Experience:- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.- Professional membership with RICS or equivalent.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, specifically within Bridge projects.- Strong analytical and numerical skills.- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.This role not only offers a competitive salary and benefits package but also the chance to work on high-profile projects that shape the future of Scotland's infrastructure.
